The pre-Christmas Run will be held on 1 December on roads leading to and in the Dandenong ranges east of Melbourne.  Falling trees have been in the news lately, so this photo serves as a warning of the potential danger lurking in the heavily forested Dandenongs.  What car is in the photo?  Could it be an early Lancia?  Prize for a positive identification.

The day will start at 10.00 am at the Stamford Hotel, Wellington Rd, Rowville on the corner of Stud Rd, Melway ref map 81 H3 (enter from Wellington Rd) when the AGM of the Register will be conducted.  Toilets and free machine-made coffee will be available in the gaming area as well as barista coffee for the connoiseurs.  The formalities should not delay us for too long before we embark on a tour of some lesser used sealed roads around the Dandenong ranges. 

We will enjoy a Christmas themed three course lunch for $40 (children under 13 $20).  BOOKING is essential as they expect to book out the whole place, so we need to secure our tables.   Final day for booking is Sunday 24^th November.

Castlemaine is done and dusted for another 2 years and it was a pretty good one. Here are a few photos from me, hopefully this will encourage others to send in some more.
