Christmas Rally and AGM Photos

Although the weather forecast promised warm weather it also promised rain later, luckily the rain was much later and there was enough shade and a light breeze to make it a perfect day.  As I did not actually do the drive I can’t tell you much about it although as it is Gippsland it goes without saying that it was spectacular but I could be biased.  The AGM was dispatched in the usual record time by Rob to rousing applause so the rest of the day was spent catching up with good friends.   I have included my photos plus one that I stole from Marc Bondini’s Facebook post which will be obvious when you see it.

Also thanks Garry Regan for your photos.

Noel has done a much better job of the photos than I so here is a link to his Blog.  http://www.narrywoolan.com.au/LanciaApriliaBlog/traveling/alr-christmas-2016/

Christmas Rally and AGM

This is just a reminder for the Christmas Rally including the AGM and your chance to drive some glorious roads on a perfect day, the country has never looked better.

Make your own way to LOCH on the South Gippsland Hwy (VicRoads map 96 D7) for morning tea at around 10am. There are a number of cafes (plus a distillery and brewery for the brave!) and a pretty small town to wander.

Leave at 11am for lunch. Notes will be handed out taking advantage of the best and most interesting route through the fabulous Strzelecki ranges.  Bring a recent Melways or VicRoads  Country Directory

Arrive at Mark & Sue McKibbin’s, in the Warragul district, for lunch around midday.

LUNCH IS A BYO PICNIC

Probably a good idea to pack some picnic chairs, rugs etc.  There will be a BBQ if you’d like to bring something to cook. Mark will have his shed open so we can inspect his treasures including a lovely sliding pillar veteran that is not a Lancia!

Mark & Sue are about 10 min from the Princes Fwy and about 1 hour from Melbourne.
